Good lord it’s been hot lately! We’ve had a major heat wave out here in Northern Virginia and it’s been brutal – but it seems to be getting a little better. I’ve had to cancel several sessions because of the heat – it just wasn’t safe at those temps for the doggies, or the humans. It has finally cooled off enough to resume photographing again – thank goodness!
For those who have contacted me about an update on the patient, she just got 2 big thumbs up from her awesome doggy dental specialist Dr. Chamberlain. He said she is healing perfectly and looks great – we couldn’t have been happier for the good news! Tater Tot had quite the emotional reunion with her toys a few days ago (they had to go into hiding at a top secret location for several weeks while she recovered from her surgery). There was a lot of barking and squealing involved as she happily thrashed her toys about (she really, really, really missed her toys). I’m really wishing I would have caught it on video because it was hilarious!
I have been wanting to share a few of my favorites of Miss Lily from our photo session – she’s just so precious and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to photograph Lily in the lilies! I mean come on, it doesn’t get any better than that!
