I met up with Jobie and his mom on a sweltering summer afternoon for a mini photo session. A few weeks prior to our photography shoot, Jobie was diagnosed with an extremely aggressive type of cancer and shortly afterward, a large tumor ballooned up on his face literally overnight. Watching these two together through my lens was heart wrenching, knowing that they didn’t have much time left together. They were like 2 peas in a pod and their love for each other goes beyond words. Jobie’s mom, Colleen of Your Dog Smiles Pet Services literally tried everything possible under the sun to save her Jobie.
Three days after our session, Jobie lost his battle with cancer. Rest in peace sweet little angel.
