My goal in life is to be like my dogs - to live in the moment, wear my heart on my sleeve and love unconditionally.

I constantly see beauty in everything around me, some people call it a gift.

I love that dogs cannot fake a smile.

It is impossible for me to pass a doggie on the sidewalk without stopping to love on him.

I have an endless amount of patience with animals.

I am the proud momma of 2 mini schnauzers whom I love more than life itself - they are my children.

I graduated from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography a few years ago and received the Craig Kojima Photography/Photojournalism Scholarship.

Contrary to popular belief, school is not closed in Hawai'i when the surfing conditions are really good.

I am an island girl at heart and a sucker for delicious crab cakes.
