My favorite time in Northern Virginia is during the autumn months.  The skies are bright and clear without the thick gray haze of humidity hanging heavy in the air and we also haven’t been buried under several feet of snow just yet.  The leaves start to turn the most amazing shades of red, orange and yellow in October and it feels like such a gift from Mother Nature to be able to witness the magnificence of it all.  This is the best time take to advantage of the gorgeousness that is Northern Virginia – find some way to get outside with your pets and enjoy it!  Better yet, take full advantage of it by using it as the perfect backdrop for your pet and family photography session!  I am asked constantly when the best time of year is for pet and family portraits.  It is definitely now!
